Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Miele appliance integration. Marble, quartz, and solid-wood millwork. Most West Van kitchens land between $80,000 and $300,000 with a six- to ten-week build window. Fixed-price quotes after a free in-home consultation.
A different market
A West Vancouver kitchen renovation is not the same project as a Vancouver kitchen renovation. The homes are bigger. The lots are bigger. The sightlines matter — almost every kitchen we renovate here is being designed around a water view, a mountain view, or both. The appliance specs are higher. The cabinetry is solid wood, not MDF. The countertops are book-matched slabs from one block, not standard fabricator stock.
We treat West Van kitchens like a sub-project of a custom home build. That means a tighter pre-construction phase (drawings, samples, full appliance schedule, electrical and plumbing rough-in plan signed off before demo) and a longer install phase with our finishing team on-site for the duration. The end result reads like a single coherent design, not a kitchen dropped into an existing house.
What it actually costs
Numbers are fixed-price quotes after we walk the home and finalize the spec. We do not move the price after signing.
District of West Vancouver permits
The District of West Vancouver permit process is more involved than the City of Vancouver's. Any kitchen reno that touches a load-bearing wall, alters the building envelope, or significantly changes electrical load gets a full review — and on above-highway homes (Chartwell, Cypress Park upper, Whitby Estates) the District often requires a structural engineer's stamped drawings before issuing the permit. We coordinate the engineer's site visit, drawings, and submission as part of the project, not as a billable add-on.
For heritage-designated properties (some Ambleside and Dundarave homes have heritage tags), we navigate the heritage review board and design within the constraints. We have done it before.
Appliance integration
We have integrated Sub-Zero column refrigerators, Wolf dual-fuel ranges, Miele steam ovens, Gaggenau modular cooktops, and Thermador panel-front dishwashers in West Vancouver kitchens for years. Each appliance has rigid spec requirements — venting, electrical, water rough-in, panel dimensions — and the cabinetry has to be built to those tolerances. Our millwork shop works from the appliance spec sheets, not from generic kitchen drawings. The panel-front fridge sits flush. The hood vents at the right CFM. The dishwasher panel matches the cabinet door grain. Details that read as expected once installed but take precision to execute.

Common questions
Typically $80,000 to $300,000. Mid-range refresh: $80K–$120K. Full luxury with Sub-Zero / Wolf / Miele and solid-wood millwork: $150K–$250K. Structural reconfiguration around a view: $250K+.
Six to ten weeks for most builds. The long pole is custom millwork — 6 to 8 weeks just to fabricate solid-wood cabinetry. We sequence the rough-in work during that window so install is quick once cabinets arrive.
Yes. We submit the permit, coordinate any structural engineer review required for above-highway homes, manage inspector visits, and close the file. You get the closed permit for your home records.
All of them. Ambleside, Dundarave, British Properties, Cypress Park, Caulfeild, Whitby Estates, Chartwell, Sandy Cove, Eagle Harbour, Horseshoe Bay.
For some projects yes — we can stage a temporary cooking setup (induction burner, microwave, sink in a utility area) so you don't lose kitchen function for the whole 6–10 weeks. We discuss this during the planning phase and build it into the timeline.
Walk us through the kitchen, talk us through what you want, get a fixed-price quote with full appliance and finish schedule in about a week.
